To Love Someone
To love someone is a priceless gift
It can not be bought or sold
It’s value is far greater
Than any mountain built of gold
For gold is cold and lifeless
It can neither see or hear
And when in times of trouble
It is powerless to cheer
It has no ears to listen
No heart to understand
And when in times of trouble
Can not reach out a helping hand
So when I ask God for a gift
I am thankful that he sends
No diamonds, pearls or riches
But the love of a real true friend
